Charter Terms and Conditions
- Please contact Skipper 027 627 4199 between 1700-1800 the night before your trip to confirm charter is going ahead.
- No Alcohol, Drugs or electronic devices (Including Phones) on board. Camera's welcome.
- Fish is divided evenly across the charter as whole fish to take home.
- Bring your own food and drink.
- Please bring containers to take whole fish home but leave the container onshore.
- All trips are weather dependent and at the skippers discretion.
- A full refund if the charter is cancelled because of weather.
- No refund will be offered if the booked person does not show up or is late and misses the charter.
- Cancellations up to eight (8) calander days before the charter date will be subject to a 50% refund. Cancellations within seven (7) calander days of the charter date will be subject to no refund.
What a great day out … Pat and Terry were so welcoming, entertaining and more than that we didn’t have to bait or remove the fish we caught! Very professional and great too that they filleted the fish for me. Plenty of room on board for us all.

Had a great trip during the winter.
Travelled a long way, but it was worth it as when we dropped our hooks 2 snapper at a time were coming up.
Boat is very stable and safe.
Skipper knows where the fish are and is prepared to travel to have a great day
Excellent weather for a day fishing!! The weather started to pick up on the way back in, so it was nice it was a larger twin hull boat. The captain and crew were VERY professional, lots of fish were caught, and a good time was had by all!!!

We had a top day out. The weather was good and the fish were biting. Lots of snapper and gurnard with the odd kawhai and barracuda. Skipper made sure we didn’t go home without a decent haul. All we had to do was reel them in. Solid boat with plenty of space.

My five year old son was dead keen on going fishing out in the ocean so I got in touch with Fishey Business to see what we could do.
We arranged to join a half day charter off of New Plymouth. It was absolutely brilliant. Pat’s set up is excellent and his gear top notch. We had a great day and Pat helped my son to realise his dream of catching a fish out in the ocean. At the end of the day we had landed Kahawai, Teraki, Snapper, and Gurnard.
Mum was very proud of her son bringing home fish for dinner.
Great day out Pat we had an amazing day fishing and will definitely be back for more soon.
